My work computer has started blocking photos - I'm so annoyed I can't drool over your pictures anymore!!!
P.S. Huddy - your avatar is so cute!!!! Did you take that picture yourself?
Gee, ta No, I didnt take the photo (unfortunately)-my hubby found it for me while surfing on the net. He has found a whole lot of other photos for me too, but I love that one so much that Ive decided to stick with it. I love cows-so cute
Me too! I have dreams of one day having a few rescue cows on a little plot of land he he. Along with my ex-battery hens and maybe some rescued pigs and sheep too. Ah well, a girl can dream
That peanut concoction looks very moreish!! (can I have the link to your blog please)
Here's the first of the potatoes from my garden ... Charlottes .... they were sooooo good! All the other stuff is out of the garden too. I love the summer .... loads of fresh, live, raw food.
I envy those with a proper garden! All I have is a tiny patch of shrubs (tho quite big for the city centre).
what did you do to the potatoes?
French dressing with wholegrain mustard.
Pavotrouge ... you can do lots of veggies in containers..... in fact, those very tatties were grown in a container .... that's why they're ready so early.
I did that once when I was about 10 or 11 *giggles* A bit late to get started for this year, don't you think?
Hahaha-what a small world! Id love to rescue some cows too. But unfortunately it will probably be a LONG way down the track. But I am hoping that when we buy our first home(in the not to distant future) that if the yard is big enough Id like to rescue some battery hens. I suppose I will just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed for us both!
It's in her signature http://veganhomemade.wordpress.com
Your potatoes look yummo too!
Too late for summer potatoes, but get an early variety (Charlottes would be perfect) .... and chit them ... them in July plant them in a container (as big as you have space for, tyres or a bin even) .... then keep earthing them up, protect them from frost and then you'll have your own potatoes for your Christmas lunch.

Aradia, those potatoes and fresh veggies look delicious! That is awesome that they are from your garden as well! I hope you got the PM and recipe I sent
Sesame-coconut crusted tofu, broccoli, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, onion, quinoa, and coconut-ginger sauce
This picture may not look super appetizing, but it was really good. I used the recipe for Cauliflower Dal with Panch Phoran from Fat Free Vegan, but added peas, cashews and brown basmati rice
Sweet potato chai muffins... my dog approved

That looks all kinds of scrumptious.
Let the music mend our minds. Let the music bend our minds.
Had a baking day due to crap weather, made the Coconut Heaven Cupcakes from VWAV and filled them with choc mousse, and drizzled 'em with ganache:-
and the Brooklyn vs Boston Creme Cupcakes from VCTOTW
Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.
I still haven't got round to making anything that is considered "fancy" mainly because I can't be arsed. lol

Mmmmmm all those cakes and that quinoa and tofu dish looked wow!
Today I had lunch out - fresh salsa and corn chip starter:
chick pea ratatouie (a word i can never spell)with salad and fries:
Yesterday I went to a museum with students and was so happy to find plenty of vegan choices on the menu I had pitta bread with hummous mixed leaf salad, caramalised onions and spicy chick peas with aubergine - so fresh and tasty pic does not do it justice!
Alisont - you always seem to be eatin out. Is Brum good for vegan eats then? When I went there to visit a friend at uni, I starved
The taste of anything in my mouth for 5 seconds does not equate to the beauty and complexity of life.
Emzy - I tend to eat out Sat lunch every week
Birmingham has to Warehouse and Sibilas as the 2 main veggie/vegan places to eat in town and other places out of town. I find Worcester is fab for vegans with Chesters, Smile vegan juice bar/cafe and a few other places. Its a lot better than it use to be
I'm eating out far too often at the moment...
demo grub from yesterday:
demo cake:
my devils horns ice-cream - just eating it now:
ooh where do you get vegan cones from?! I can only get waffle cones!

Oh my goodness, all these cakes/cupcakes look incredible! Poison Ivy- those coconut cupcakes look insanely good, exactly what I have been craving !
Aww thanks, you are very sweet (and no that does not sound patronising). I am very passionate about cooking vegan food . By the way Aradia, what kind of cake is that? Yum!
pavot, sorry, i don't personally feel that Lidl are worse than any other supermarket (with the possible exception of Co-op), and as we only have Lidl or a tiny Co-op to chose from here for most of our food (on the entire set of Orkney Islands) i don't have a great choice.
Kitteh, I want that tofu sandwich. It looks perfect and I want it. Think I'm gonna have a sandwich for lunch tomorrow.
Poison Ivy, I can't get down with the coconut cupcakes (personal preference), but the Boston Cremes! Holy cow! And all of Kitteh's cupcakes too. Mmmmmmm.
Blueberry Peach Crisp with blueberries I had picked that very afternoon. Recipe on my blog.
Spinach & mushrooms pizza, amazing grilled squash & zucchini.
Very unauthentic pho.
Cutesy condiments.
veganhomemade.wordpress.com
authentic or not, the pho looks awesome!
I didn't mean it as an offense, cobweb, just wanted to inform people. I try to buy from supermarkets as little as possible, but when you do a bit of research and compare, Lidl is still worse than other markets.
birthday cake!
me and anna tried to recreate the felafel wraps of BVF..they were nice..but typically..they were not. the. same.
everyones foody pics look great btw
ahronli sed ah dunit so thid tek thuh cheyus graytuh offa mi nihbles
oh ok thanks Bryzee - I ignorantly thought the co-op were quite good with all the household products, shampoos, soaps and baby wipes and wine etc labeled as vegan.
Mmmm, now I want a felafel wrap too EmmaP are those Sherbet Pips decorating your cake??
Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.
emmap - good cake, what are those ickle pink sweeties on it? (god, hope that doesn't sound vegan-policey, i'm just collecting pink things! )
I reckon they're millions.
what the heck are millions?
