nobody?
...it's called a cape fox:
The Cape Fox (vulpes chama) is the only breed of the genus Vulpes in Africa that can be found under the equator. This fox opts for open habitat like savannas and also semi-desert territories and do not like forests. A typical Cape Fox weighs 2.6kg on average. Their covering is silver-gray, with red head and fore limbs.
The Cape Fox is basically nocturnal, but the newborns play during daytime hours. Cape Foxes hunt for food independently and are not territorial.

A water opossum?
It's obvious what animal these are, but they're my favourite out of this species. They make little bivouacs in the rainforest. My question is..does anyone know their full name?
it is a water opossum, also known as a yapok.
i think i should let someone else answer yours AMF, seeing as how i work for a charity conserving those particular creatures those are a particularly cool breed

They're just sooo cute I want to eat them!
(In a vegan way of course, just nibble their little ears...nom nom nom)
How about "Cute cute cute" Well that's what I'd call them.
Albino gremlins?
They are all so cute! Thanks for posting them....that little llama (?) was so cartoon-character-ish!

Aww, the Aye-aye is about the cutest thing I've ever seen. It reminds me of a Brian Froud creation lol.
I had to research them a bit after seeing the picture. Apparently one of the reasons they're endangered is because people kill them because they are freaked out by them. That's so sad, how could anyone kill this little guy .
http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne...0707845&size=oI've been counting; we've had 1 bird, 2 amphibians, 1 fish, 1 mollusc - for really cute, how about a reptile?

You'll have to upload the picture to a free hosting site like photobucket, then put that link between the image tags.
Thanks, HappyVegan!
That seems to work, it's not quite the way I wanted, but you can at least see the picture. I need some practice at this! Flickr told me that the name Mzee was already taken, but veganmzee was OK!
edit - I've managed to get a bigger picture.
great photo mzee.
i was going to post another cutie, but i need to resize the pic first.

Cute creature! Dunno what it is, mind.
that is a....something! erm... haven't a clue what it is. But it's either a little something or a baby something.
Aww cute - it has the same eyes as my baby kitty Puggie!
baby bush baby?
good guesses everyone, but it's a mouse lemur. they're from Madagascar.
this little guy's quite funny:

Is it a young red panda - just starting to go red?
some kind of lemur?
it is indeed a kind of lemur: a Red-tailed Sportive Lemur. i think he kind of looks like a koala with a bat's head

This animal has just been discovered (along with dozens of new plants, birds, butterflies and frogs)...

That cuddly rat makes me think of the Giant Rat of Sumatra, "a story for which the world is not yet prepared", as mentioned by Sherlock Holmes:

BIG RAT!!! wow!
It's a fuzzy pig!
The world's smallest mammals are smaller than some insects. Depending on how you define smallest (mass, length, volume, skull size, etc) the two contenders are the bumblebee bat, discovered in 1973:
Or the Etruscan Pygmy Shrew, which isn't as cute to look at so I vote bat.
I realise I am a bit of a cheetah!
Ah, the elusive Rusted Horn-blowing Peacock of East Yorkshire...quite a find!
Very unusual breeding habits, and a coutrship dance that is simply mesmerising.
wow, that's awesome.
...take it to the bridge...
It's crazy!!
wonder which is nearer to the natural original pig - fluffy or pinky?
aren't pigs just domesticated boars (which are hairy )
I might be wrong though, a simple google search would probably have the answer, but that sounds like way too much effort
yeah but there's a difference between hairy and woolly.
Numbats and other mostly unknown Australian fauna pwn your souls. Gimme a hug.
This is what my late dog could look like if I gave her 200 pounds 8O.
