From what I've heard, Berlin is a great place for vegans!
There's a group on Flickr that has pictures of veg*an places in Europe, and it also has some pictures and short reviews of nice places in Berlin. Look here and search for Berlin Cafe V is supposed to be very good.

You could check out the Happy Cow page as well, if you haven't already.

Oh, and there's a blog about vegetarian restaurants in Berlin here, maybe that could be of help too

I've never been there so I can't really recommend places to you, but I hope you have a great time there! when are you going?

Is so nice. Went there a few times. Make sure if you order stuff you say no egg though. I made mistake of ordering something that normally has egg in it without realising, but i couldve asked for no egg.
But the food there was really nice and reasonable priced, and a very nice atmosphere too.

Id just like to add to this thread again. I went to Berlin, and it was A M A Z I N G for vegans. I ate lots and bought a pair of vegetarian shoes from an all vegan shop called Veni Vidi Vegi. Yellow Sunshine do the best burgers in the world, hands down, i ate there 3 times in 5 days.

A friend of mine had been to Berlin, she said that she had more problems with not eating too much, than having to find something vegan... She especially found a restaurant called something like 'sunshine' (i think it's the yellow sunshine, just found it at the happycow website) really cool. She told me it's like a vegan mcdonalds.

I was considering a trip to Berlin this summer and I also need new shoes (I still use my old leather boots and I'd like to ditch them). Please tell me there's a huge vegan cheap shoes shop in Berlin ...ok, I already know I'm asking too much
