Well there's not too much to it tbh.
I made up some sosmix, added finely chopped onion and roughly chopped pecan nuts to it. Rolled it up into a big soysage roll shape with some puff pastry and sliced it into decent sized portions and baked them until done.
The satay potato cakes were some left over mashed potato (with herbs) mixed up with some satay sauce, then topped with satay and baked at the same time as the sosmix rolls.
i made a lovely lunch today..one that i took ages making last night, then i went and dropped it on the floor and the floor wasn't right clean so i ended up having a bag of ready salted hula hoops. i was really gutted.

THANKS A MILLION, you're an absolute star!

Astrid - sadly no . That's just about as exciting as my life gets - neolithic artefacts and lunchboxes . Have you been to Orkney, Astrid?.
teehee emmap those animals are cute.
Nope. Is it worth a visit?
EmmaP - you are really getting into the kawaii bento thing I see. I love the little animal friends.
of course it is!. I just wondered as we have a lot of ties with Norway, like the Christmas trees that are gifted each year by Norway, and the bands and poets come here to do tree lighting services, for instance. So in Orkney we sort of feel related to Norway.
I just now read up on Orkney on wikipedia. Your flag looks like ours only with yellow! Do you know if you are of Norwegian descent? Do you speak Norn?
i'm not, Astrid but the local dialect was Norn here til the end of the 1700s i believe and still contains some Norse words. Orkney used to be a Norwejan earldom.
come now ladies...you are taking the bento thread off topic
