Here is my bento in action. Wholemeal pasta covered in a cider vingar dressing, fresh mixed salad leaf with a whole tomato, mixed nuts included brazil, walnut and almond, two strawberries, homemade hummus, raw carrot, brocolli and cauliflour. Dried mango, prune and pinapple in with the fork!

I'll come up with something more inventive soon

Yup, it just took me longer than expected to get round to preparing my lunch. I'm off to bed fairly soon though.

I might take an extra carrot with me and dip it in the hummus/sweet chilli sauce.

My friend just brought me a bento box from Japan!!!!! I'm so excited! I'll post pics of it soon. I don't know if I'll be using it anytime soon since as of now I eat most of my meals in my room, but I think I'll be using it this summer... and I might end up using it next week just for fun (I just really want to use it!)

No I didn't make those, my home made pakora wouldn't turn out that cute or that small ... gimme big pakoras . I bought these in Lidl, they're in the freezer section, they're sold with mini samosas (8 of each) as an Indian snack selection.

but you can still make choices, can't you? I try to avoid supermarkets and huge corporations where I can.

now you guys with the massive laptop lunches, look what arrived from the US today...

    what is this?

a massive picnic bento, about triple the size of a laptop lunch I did a sort of swap with a blogger from TN, I got here some cosmetics you can't get in the US and asked for Trader Joe's cookies and bento gear in return. This will come in handy for potlucks and picnics!

If it helps make it seem less evil I reckon the Sainsbury's chocolate is just a repackaged version of the Dairy Free/Humdinger/Sweet William one anyway. Hmm, I really should do a taste test to confirm my theory.
