Hooray for Bryzee and Joey joining our bento gang. I find mine holds enough to keep me full for a good few hours, but I try to balance filling foods with stuff like carrot sticks and light-calorie veggies.
tomorrow: southern-style dolmades w/ tahini sauce, goddess pasta salad, avocado, two huge strawberries
veganhomemade.wordpress.com
jamboxrock, that looks so good! Is the recipe for goddess pasta salad around here somewhere? And what do you have sprinkled on the avocado?
I don't bento...yet.
Summer is here and Bento's just wanna have fun.
That's awesome, VC. really nice and summery.
That's a really nice picture.
(I saw some buttercups the other day when I was out, I hadn't seen them in years.)
Oh poo. I forgot to take a picture of Jo's bento today!
Ah well. Just so you know, it contained: Diced melon, small "chicken" sandwich, 3 squares choccy, sesame snap, cucumber spears, 4 home made sos rolls (a la Vegcurry ), and Cranberries and almonds in with the fork.
What is this in with the fork thing you keep going on about, does it have another meaning that I am too uncool to understand?
Nope. Just look at the right hand side of the box, that's the space for the fork. There's also a bit of space to put a few little bits, such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit etc
^ thanks, I'll check out the Yellow Rose next time I'm at the bookstore.

@ Bryzee
Here's the running order: Make it. Photograph it. Eat it
Yours looks great, Roxy!
Edit: from last page
Bryzee, if we don't have visual proof then it never existed!
I wasn't going to do a box for tomorrow cause it's just what I could grab, but I couldn't very well carry a plate of food covered in foil with me to work. I walk and take the bus, it just wouldn't work. So...the last two pieces of deluxe pizza (sigh), a plum and a fig bar.
