Hooray for Bryzee and Joey joining our bento gang. I find mine holds enough to keep me full for a good few hours, but I try to balance filling foods with stuff like carrot sticks and light-calorie veggies.

tomorrow: southern-style dolmades w/ tahini sauce, goddess pasta salad, avocado, two huge strawberries

jamboxrock, that looks so good! Is the recipe for goddess pasta salad around here somewhere? And what do you have sprinkled on the avocado?

    I don't bento...yet.

Oh poo. I forgot to take a picture of Jo's bento today!

Ah well. Just so you know, it contained: Diced melon, small "chicken" sandwich, 3 squares choccy, sesame snap, cucumber spears, 4 home made sos rolls (a la Vegcurry ), and Cranberries and almonds in with the fork.

What is this in with the fork thing you keep going on about, does it have another meaning that I am too uncool to understand?

Nope. Just look at the right hand side of the box, that's the space for the fork. There's also a bit of space to put a few little bits, such as nuts, seeds, dried fruit etc

The pasta salad is from Yellow Rose Recipes. And it's just black pepper on the avo. I didn't end up going to work today, so my bento will have to wait patiently until tomorrow.

Bryzee, if we don't have visual proof then it never existed!

I wasn't going to do a box for tomorrow cause it's just what I could grab, but I couldn't very well carry a plate of food covered in foil with me to work. I walk and take the bus, it just wouldn't work. So...the last two pieces of deluxe pizza (sigh), a plum and a fig bar.

Do you like those fig bars jambox? I love them - a nice sweet, healthy snack.

No bento for me today. I didn't get home from work till close to 10pm and had to be back there at 9am this morning. So no time to put one together. Well, I probably could've if I'd really wanted to, but buying lunch was the easier option today.

It was 6am, I'd had 1 hour sleep, and it was for Jo anyway, so it doesn't count.

I do like them, but I think one bar has something like 60 calories (please correct me if I'm wrong) so I stick to one at a time, which is like three or four tiny bites.
