    Default Glastonbury 2008

Has anyone registered? Is anyone planning on going? I'm considering going. I haven't been in nine years, and think it may be time to head there again. I'm currently trying to covince some other friends to go, but when i did this last year with Benicassim I ended up going on my own Sooo, anyone really planning on going?

I'm considering it. Although the bad weather over the last two Glastos really pissed me off, so I'm 50/50 at the moment.

Maybe. I missed out last year due to being unprepared (kinda the story of 2007), but this year I have a lot more to be paying for, so... Not sure

    Same here.

If I do go, I don't think I'll be camping.

Yeah! This year is the year.

We'll probably see each other and go:
    "Ohhhh, it's youuuu! That Jase!"
"I haven't seen you in weeks!" etc.

Please excuse my bitter rant but I am still pissed off at the comments made by Eavis about last year and the age of the festival goers. Has he considered that the same people go every year and his core of festival goers is getting older - just like him! I certainly don't feel inclined to go so this is one oldie he won't have to worry about.

His plan to bring back da yoof? Kylie? Jay-Z? I really can't see how Kylie has a hugely young fan base . . . does she? She and Jay-Z are both pushing 40! And I have no wish to see either of them.

I'll wait to see what he pulls out of the hat next year to combat what I reckon will be 2008s appalling turn out and atmosphere - maybe Glasto is too Lasto-century and is just losing it! Maybe the rumours about this being the final year will turn out to be true.
