Gayla!!!! and I do love me a pink lady.
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
Got to be Granny Smiths ... NO OTHER APPLE has the same crunchiness AND sharp flavour ... golden delicious bores me.
gayla, fuji, pink lady
the granny hurts my tummy cause they are so tart.

Mmm a vote for gayla here!

Braeburn. all the way!
I seriously can't eat apples, they hurt my stomach!
I remember really really liking Braeburn, though.

Fugis, definately, if not available then sundowners, but i hate hate hate powdery apples, ewww
I am going through a major apple phase right now! As long as they are crisp and juicy I like to switch it up with different varieties. My overall favorite is granny smith, but I had my first pink lady today and it was REALLY good! Lately I've been getting what ever is most fragrant at the grocery store and it hasn't steered me wrong yet.
Wow, I really want an apple now... but I just finished eating and I'm absolutely stuffed. Maybe with breakfast tomorrow! Yum, i'm looking forward to it
Golden Russets rock my world.

haha, there must be something to it. i once became what i would consider to be a bit of an apple addict. and by all means the crunchier the better. if i can actually get someone's attention on the other side of the room by biting in to my apple...i know i have got a good one!! i heard, and i think also read, somewhere that apples can give you an energy boost. i dont know if there is any truth to that at all, but what an added plus that would be!

I don't really like the texture of apples! But I love apple juice, apple sauce, apple pie, etc. Weird?
Peace, love, and happiness.
Same! I'm not an apple fan at all, but I love apple juice....oh and apple pie....I love apple pie
I like Red Delicious and Granny Smith.
Cliche' I know.
Another vote for pink lady.
I had a honeycrisp once and it was very juicy, but haven't seen them since
Granny Smith is the baddest granny on the planet. I don't eat no apple unless I feel some kind of pain from the extreme tartness! Crunchy dark red apples (what are they called) are nice too, but Golden Delicious are pants!
I am really feeling the hate with regard to not nice apples.
Are there any other fruit which spark such feuds and infighting? Surely th eapple must be crowned the most vicious of them all!
Shut up Paul.
How did I get down here?
I am a fuji woman at heart...
mmmmmmm...cupcakes
I like them all, they just need to be juicy, crunchy and not so tart you get a green apple belly and sore teeth.

GRANNY SMITH! GRANNY SMITH! GRANNY SMITH!
OOOOOH... GRANNY SMITH.
Ok, by now you might have figured the answer out. The strong flavour, bold juiciness, crunchy texture, bits of skin that sometimes get between your teeth and, oh, the slightly acid touch make it top choice for me.
However, I have to point out that it doesn't have that strong apple smell which can only be given by Royal Gala.
"We gotta go and never stop going till we get there." "Where we going, man?" "I don't know but we gotta go."
I like Fuji, Pink Lady and of course the seasonal Norwegian apples.
pink lady and golden delicious
royal gala or braeburn.
Pink Lady here, too.
I always have Elstar apples in my fridge, because I have five furry apple eaters I have got to share them with! We like Braeburns, too, but they are more expensive and like I said, there are six of us eating them almost every day. I never liked Golden Delicious, which is why I seldom ate apples when I was living at home with my parents. My father loves Granny Smiths apples. I eat them now and then. The others do not like them very much . Spoilt, I know .
I am beginning to enjoy red delicious a little bit more...could be do to the fact that the ones I just bought have little stickers that have piggies on them...
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
haha...i am such a sucker for appealing packaging! even if it means a cute little sticker. but i do really like a perfect red delicious. the thing is, its hit or miss. you can wind up stumbling across one that is not ripe enough with no flavor, or one that is just a little too ripe...and then its all mushy and grainy.. eww! that is the worst!!

I love the taste of cox.
Yes, Cox's Orange Pippins
Bramleys for cooking and I love baked apples with nuts, dates and raisins and syrup in the middle....yumm
of course ya do.

Whatever comes off my trees is my favourite. Last year I had the first apples of a Greensleeves I planted about three years before... just six apples, and they were the best I've ever tasted!
Oh my, I really fancy a baked apples with all the trimmings Aunti R - can you get Bramley's were you are? The closest I can get are canada apples ... I've got a Bramley's growing, but it's a LONG way of producing yet.
This is apple country around here and you can get good cookers that are like Bramleys. I can't remember the name now. I'm thinking about planting a couple of apple trees which we will hopefully stay to see fruit.
Incredibly sour! Unless you cook them, then they taste like most other green apples would cooked, except they hold together better.
