Not too odd but I love raw onion with peanuts. Or in a sandwich with peanut butter and grated carrot. Yum.
I also like to eat peanuts with soup but that might be a salt thing!
I'm also thinking Sarah_'s snack sounds nice, esp with the spinach!

^^ i had actually been wondering what that would taste like, because it's a vegan version of a white russian (minus the kahlua)...i might hold off on trying it now...
another odd combination...once, i was out of almond milk, and tried eating cereal with orange juice...yuk!!

I've successfully made soy white russians before...

On the subject of soy white russians, anyone who's near enough should go check out Lucky 13 Saloon in Park Slope, Brooklyn...They have soy WR's on the cocktail menu amongst other vegany cocktails and it's a totally rockin bar to boot!Mmmm

I had a banana, salad, sweetcorn and prawn cocktail flavour crisp sandwich the other day.
Potato croquettes in sweet and sour sauce are nice.
Michael.
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find me...
Spoonfuls of nutritional yeast.
Raw oats.
Cold rice with salsa.
Quinoa with agave nectar.
Oatmeal with sea salt and cinnamon.
Nutritional yeast mixed with unsweetened soymilk and pepper for cheeze sauce.
I guess those might not be that weird.
Well I got the idea from a veggie Chinese place which had a deep fried mash potato dish as a starter, so it is almost authentic. Maybe. The breadcrumbs soak up the sauce and the potato gives a different texture so I think it works rather well.
The croquette's are Asda's own brand, which are the only ones I have ever seen that are free from dairy. Not sure where I found out about them being suitable, but the ingredients are: Potato (77%), Breadcrumbs [Wheat flour, Water, Yeast, Salt], Sunflower oil (6.1%), Dried potato, Dextrose, Wheat flour, Salt, Stabilizer [Hydroxpropyl methyl cellulose], Rice flour, Spice extract.

Tofutti cream cheese with ketchup.
Marmiten and marmalade on toast, its wonderful. But you have to do it right, vegan margerine, then a layer of marmite then a layer of marmalade, any other way and you just kinda get this messy brown sludge, not good!
i need to get my fingers on some marmite or marmite alternative.

I love chili powder and/or garlic on popcorn
^ Right, I'm trying to imagine eating whole spoonfuls of nut. yeast....
Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.
PS it's not vegan but back when I wasn't veg, I'd dip hot cheetos into cream cheese.

It's not that weird, but I used to love mustard on everything. It's really good on squash. And I love vinegar, especially on spinach. Or I drink it straight up--like a shot of vinegar.
I haven't had it, but this is an interesting cake recipe I found that definitely qualifies as a weird food combination: tomato soup spice cake. Anyone brave enough to try it?
^ Aha! I drink vinegar straight as well!
Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.
Yes! I'm not crazy! My friends actually like to watch me take shots of vinegar, lol. They think I'm really weird. What's your favorite kind of vinegar to drink? I like apple cider (that's the first kind I ever drank straight), but I also really liked red wine. Sometimes I like balsamic too, but it's a little sweet for me sometimes...
Well, I like all types of vinegar. Currently in my cupboard I have apple cider, balsamic, and a white vinegar. The first I ever drank straight was red wine because that's usually what people order in restaurants-red wine and oil for their salads, but I think straight white vinegar is my favorite.
PS I love mustard on everything as well.
Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.
Lol, that's awesome. I think one of the reasons I liked mustard so much is because of the vinegar in it, lol! I haven't had straight white vinegar in a long time...I should have some later... I first drank apple cider vinegar straight because my grandma heard it was good for your health, so she'd mix it with water and sugar every day and drink it...I slowly decreased the amount of water and upped the amount of vinegar because I thought it tasted better that way, and eventually I was just drinking straight vinegar! Mmm!
^ Yeah, my parents had apple cider vin. in their cupboard because that kevin dude had a diet book that says to use it. It was sooooooooo good.

Ketchup with baked beans.
Ketchup and mayo mixed together and use it for dipping "buttered" bread into.
Ketchup with gravy on a roast dinner.
Ketchup and peanut butter on toast
Bread, ketchup and garlic sandwhiches
Oh and did I mention ketchup straight outta the bottle?

Wow, I love ketchup but I've never had any of those combos! I'm going to have to try some of those...ketchup and baked beans sounds really good to me right now for some reason.
Emzy, I'm just like that with mustard, I cant go day without it.

Hmm ketchup and mustard!? Interesting!!! I guess that would go well with a hotdog or salad.
I just ate something some would consider wierd but I eat it so often:
Avocado and tomato smooshed on wholemeal toast and dipped in guess what? KETCHUP!!!!!
The taste of anything in my mouth for 5 seconds does not equate to the beauty and complexity of life.
No, just mustard! No ketchup. I love avo and tomato sandwiches. Especially with spouts, arugula, and mustard of course!

emz- none of those seem weird... except ketchup n peanut butter! wtf??
ketchup, mustard, vegenaise, onion and pickle = veg burger necessities.
eta: i order a buddhas bowl (black beans, potatoes, tofu seasoned with curry, broccoli, onions) for breakfast at a lil cafe quite often and they always offer soy sauce and salsa with it. I always thought that was a weird combo, but when i finally tried it mmmmmmmmmmmm.
