Cops: Man Humps Dinosaur in Park
Law enforcement officials say a man exposed himself to two teenage girls in a park in Chester County on Sept. 19, then began "simulating a sex act with a large plastic dinosaur in the park," according to a police report
Indian Man Escapes Death After Swallowing Snake on $2 Bet
Now, to be fair, the snake was dead, the victim of revenge by one Zaver Rathod, a 35-year old man whose grasp on common sense and reason apparently weakens when incredibly small amounts of money are involved. Rathod, who killed the snake after it bit his friend in the city of Surat, was encouraged by his friends to eat the dead snake for 100 rupees.

Berlusconi's political party here in Italy, the PDL, is thinking of proposing a law to lower the age someone comes of age, from 18 to 16, a law which would be retroactive. Naturally they are adamant this has nothing to do with the premier's involvement in a sex scandal with an underage prostitute. And we believe them.

They have no shame. Are there enough of them in government to pass the law if the PDL ones all toed the line, or would they need other parties' support?

I don't follow politics all that closely; I think Berlusconi needs the support of Bossi (Lega Nord), but Bossi needs Silvio for the law on federalism he wants to push through.
Silvio wants to avoid appearing in court at all costs, since the only way he can currently stay out of prison is if remains prime minister.
And since he's pretty much a one-man party, God knows what will happen to his party if the government falls.
So I think everyone will support him, as much to keep a united front as to keep their own jobs.

    How about this one?

A milliner who makes hats out of roadkill and bits of animals he buys at the butchers can't understand why he's being targeted by animal-rights activists. He is, after all, not somebody who is cruel to animals.

    ^^
I think that the animal rights people are coming out with a knee-jerk reaction rather than something carefully thought out. I wouldn't want to buy one of his hats though.

I think you're right. The death-threat email campaign has probably done a lot more harm than good.

He isn't as cruelty-free as he likes to think he is, though.

! I've heard of "foreign accent syndrome" before but not as a result of dental treatment. Seems to imply that the anaesthetic caused some brain damage but it's odd that that's the only manifestation.

    Awww... you ruined it

I new it wasn't real really, mainly because it supposedly happened in Wales but was only really picked up by news providers in Australia, that and I searched his name.

Sorry Risker - but at least this way we don't have to feel sad about the poor bloke being stuck in a badger set etc!

I heard of two hunting deaths, somewhere in Africa I think. One of them involved a man whom got his head stuck in a rabbit hole, and dying there.
