Mmmmm.........hummus, I LOVE it, especially on crackers.

I'd need quite a few crackers to use that lot up though!

I'm not buying this. I could give dozens of alternative explanations for this photo all having nothing to do with *ahem* "clearly" grieving. Do some animals like elephants and chimps mourn? Perhaps, but this photo doesn't "prove" it IMHO. This could easily be a case of anthropomorphism by the journalists.

Yes the bride looks "really happy with her husband" rather than a young girl forced into a marriage she really, really didn't want.

She did look a little 'happy'. At least she will be a widow sooner than most forced into marriage. Not that it is much consolation

Police in Russia have arrested three homeless men suspected of killing a man, eating part of the body and selling other parts to a kebab shop.

^ That has actually happened many times. I recall the "Funny Boyz" murder in Blackpool a few years ago, where a takeaway owner was convicted of murdering a girl and her body was never found. The police suspected it had either been sold as kebab meat or ground into tile grout. There was also the recent case of the Canadian serial killer Willie Pickton who ran a meat processing factory and who admitted to mixing human flesh with his meat products. Very Sweeney Todd

The last line from Risker's link:

"It was not immediately clear if any customers had been served. "

Well that's just poor customer service. All customers should be served immediately...while they are still fresh.

I don't buy it. I think its an urban myth. Maybe the local police indeed are falling for this nonsense but local police often fall for lots of idiotic claims:

    -bigfoot raped my wife
-UFOs took me and conducted experiments on me.
-Psychics helped us find the missing body. Just like they said, we found it near a "body of water", on the ground, near a town with two vowels in its name.

"Medical authorities have expressed scepticism about a black market for human fat, partly because of the wide availability of fat for use in surgical procedures."

Why trust medical experts familiar with the use and availability of fat when we have the Peruvian Police which study this in police school?

    just discovered this horrible headline

Paralysed Belgian misdiagnosed as in coma for 23 years
"I was shouting, but no-one could hear me,"
in about 40% of cases in which people are classified as being in a vegetative state, closer inspection reveals signs of consciousness.
I personally think that is terrifying and really, really tragic

This story made me laugh (edit - well, the method of detection rather than the crimes). "Police caught a serial sex attacker in Renfrewshire because his identical twin brother's DNA was held on the national database".
