creamy spinach and tomato pasta. I don't normally have the time to cook a proper meal but am feeling ill so made the effort and it was lovely! Shame though as I now think I am allergic to wheat so my last pasta dish for a while.
vegan schnizel with potato salad and a vegan banana split at a restaurant in vienna
The half of a rose cupcake I just had was sooo yummy, I really don't want to give the other half to my friend. Then again I want to share the joy. What shall I do!
It even has rose jam inside!
Last edited by Marrers; Nov 6th, 2008 at 03:26 PM. Reason: to say it had jam inside

All sorts of yummy cupcake flavours come from May's General Store in Lewes. The cherry & coconut one has jam in the middle too!

cream of mushroom soup, i had missed it lots since going vegan!
Cupcakes is enough of an excuse for me Gorilla! But they also have nice shops, for example in Needlemakers and i really like The Workshop jewellery shop on the High Street.
(You'll need to time it right if you are going for cupcakes - Tuesdays and Thursdays. I bring a tuppaware box so they don't get squashed.)

They stay open til 8pm but I know it's a bit of a hassle going after work. (Takes about half an hour each way on the bus from central Brighton.)

Yes and it could happen, they do tend to go by the end of the day (I've wondered if they would reserve some if we rang ahead but I've not tried it yet).
I bought several today, just ate 3 which were divine but now I feel a bit sick!

Deliciously crunchy, sweet & juicy, not-too-hard, not-too-soft red Gala apple....I'm happy
carrot and ginger soup, so wintery!
Pasta bake with baby spinach, jerusalem artichoke, and yeast flakes and cheezely sprinkled on top. I made the five minute tomato sauce from "vegan a go go" and added some chilli flakes. Good job I liked it as I will be eating it for lunch and dinner tomorrow too!!
Prepackaged garlic noodles with added garbanzo beans, artichoke hearts, and tahini.

I've just made the best banana hazelnut muffins ever... on a 0.7 l of mulled wine (damn Xmas markets!)... and they rose perfectly! Can't scoff down too many though because they're meant for a bday party tomorrow.

I wouldn't like to put a figure on the amount of those that I've eaten in the past 8 years, but it's certainly in the hundreds.

I think I will have to ban myself from the shop that sells them, thing is they have been there for months and I assumed they were milk choccie because I read a few other packets and all the other flavours are milk and then a friend was like 'no no, the red marzian packet is vegan!' And now I am hooked

A chilli veg stirfry with soy sauce, ginger and peanut butter served with noodles and sesame seeds sprinkled over....scrummdidlyumptious.
sandwich, hummus and branston pickle, sounds wierd but works amazingly!
I am eagerly anticipating getting my order of primal strips, I will have to post here every time I eat one!
Yh, I've never actually had meat jerky so I can't compare but I really like the texture and the 2 flavours I've tried so far have been really delish. Plus my diet is so sweet atm (nakd bars and alpro puddings!) that I need some low calorie savory things to balance it out!
primal strips are well good.
NOM!
Hmmm...maybe I will have to suck it up and give them a try then. What flavor do you all like?
tabbouleh-bouleh
There was a peanutty/satay one that I quite liked.
I just ate the last viennese whirl (bought from a stall at the vegan fair).
