    Default creamy deli dip/sauce

    this is from the garden diet recipe e-book;
i use it as a sauce for raw noodles/pasta or a dip

    storm's creamy deli dip
    (rich & calorie dense)

    1 avo mashed
4 tbs raw tahini (or normal)
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/2tsp celtic sea salt
1 tbs raw honey (i replaced this and used a smidge of agave nectar)
2 tbs cold pressed olive oil
    1/3 cup water

i played around with the quantities till i got the taste right for my palate.
imo the tahini quantity is waaaaaay toooooo much, start off with a teaspoon if you use it!

the cucumber & orange salad dressing in this raw food section is also nice.

I might try this also without the honey and tahini, I deffo need a new dressing to keep me interested in my salad lunches!

This just reminds me that I HAVE to try tahini.
Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.

i leave the tahini out now, it's just overpowering sometimes, in this for me it is. i used agave nectar - just a smidge mind.

I agree re. tahini, I think we've mentioned this before, I'm not sure why it's in a lot of recipes, I guess it's quite thick but I think it ruins the taste more often than not!

So it's kind of like a sweet-ish avocoado dip/dressing? It sounds lovely. I've got a couple of ripe avos here too.....

I had two avos today, one I had to chuck most of it (v.brown) but the other one was perfect. I added them to my salad as they were instead of trying to make the dressing

I love avocados. Avocado and mango together with a curry dressing is really nice.
