    Default "Should we stop eating meat?"

    http://environment.uk.msn.com/featur...mentid=8187721

    I saw this on the msn home page. It is good imo that they have set the debate properly with pros and cons so people can make their own choices. However the last thing people read is negativity on not eating meat. Looks intentional as well.

    I like the fact they have provided websites for more information. However this one www.meatmatters.com/ is actually disgusting and blatant lies. Don't look at it if you don't like the sight of rotting cow flesh.

    From www.meatmatters.com:

    Balance your meat meals with plenty of starchy foods such as;
    - rice
    - pasta
    - noodles
    - bread (preferably wholegrain varieties)
    - potatoes
    Plus generous servings of salad or vegetables
    And include fruit throughout the day
    When shopping look for meat labelled "lean" or "extra lean"

    Avoid adding fat when cooking by grilling or dry-frying.

    Why both with the meat in the first place?

    What? You can't just live off meat? I though it was a "wonder food!!"

    You can with the latest [F]Atkins-inspired diet craze: The BACON Diet! Yes, even you can eat nothing but American-style streaky pig flesh and melt away inches!
    [F]Atkins is not financially responsible for your quadruple bypass surgery bills. Diet works so long as calories consumed via bacon do not total more than 900 per day. Side effects may include grease sweat, pigulation, and heart attack. Many will enter, few will win.

    Dude, the bottom of that "Feel Good About Meat" homepage says that only 1/3 of your food intake should be fruits and vegetables... in a section labeled "Information For Teachers"! For Pete's sake, teachers?!
