    Question Gnocchi

    Hi
I got some great-looking fresh gnocchi from a friend that flew in from Italy today and I want to use it ASAP. The thing is, I'm not sure what kind of sauce to use - I'd feel bad using plain old tomato sauce with this pasta that took so much effort to get to me. Does anyone want to suggest any recipes?
    Thanks!!

Buy some basil and pine nuts and make fresh pesto to go with it.

I agree with the above, adding of course anything else you fancy, like chopped sundried tomatoes

TO be honest, the freshest, plainest sauce can often be best. Such as: Vine tomatoes, onions, garlic, fresh herbs and olive oil.
