Raw yes.
Why just males?
Answer - yes
"I don't want to live on this planet any more" - Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth
I love the stuff! I especially like it in tomato soup and spag-bol.
My member LOVES celery.
And so do I.
Since becoming a vegan there is no vegetable that I do not love.
..but what would they do with all the cows?..
I like it in soup or risotto, and raw with Peanut butter. Otherwise no ( so far).
How good it is to be well-fed, healthy, and kind all at the same time. Henry J. Heimlich
I don't love it but I do like it. Raw, w/ pnb, many soups, stir fries. It has a slightly bitter taste that may put some off it. It is also unusually high in sodium, as vegetables go, that is.
yay
its ok, but idont have it that often
I've always liked it.
I can't stand celery by any means. I don't think it's a male thing, I think it's just one of those foods that a lot of people don't like.
"To reduce suffering means to reduce the amount of ignorance, the basic affliction with us." -Thich Nhat Hanh
Celery is great. I like it with salad cream.
May I take a moment to point you to this post in the 'Celery' thread....I think it says it all really!
Blackadder: Baldrick, have you no idea what irony is?
Baldrick: Yes, it's like goldy and bronzy only it's made out of iron.
EmmaP is the best, innit?
raw is ok
there'll be a crack about 'cracks' now, wait and see, Harpy!
i hate celery but my husband loves it if that's any help??
I don't mind it if it's amalgamated in a salad or in a Bolognese sauce but I wouldn't sit and munch through a stick of it.

celery's great - especially in soup
When I read this thread title, I imagined you asking penises a question.
Raw with lots of salt or cooked in a soup or stew.

^ Yikes! What are you on, crack? When my member's raw, about the last thing on Earth I'd want to introduce is salt or a boiling hot liquid. Ouch! You must be one of them there "mass-o-chists".
It's okay.
I am a masochist. I like a cold shower every morning. That's why I don't have one.

It's growing on me. Used to think it was nasty, but now I eat it cooked or raw. Not my favourite food, but I do eat quite a bit of it.

Yeah sure I like celery.
That wasn't a dream. It actually happened.
I like celery with drenched in lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.
Then again, I like most fresh veggies that way.
context is everything
I'm female and celery is the only veg I can't stand.
I don't like it raw but I don't mind it (in small amounts) cooked.
erugh no, you're all wrong, celery is an abomination to vegetables.
Celery looks bad, acts bad, and tastes bad.
I take one look at it, and think "How do people actually consider it food?"
To all you celery haters: Do you think your hatred is based on having once been stalked by one?
Maybe, they are sneaky and EVIL!
You never know when one may be lurking round the next corner, or watching you as you walk innocently down the street...
God I love celery!
Especially at night - it makes me all sleepy.
It's all right raw and cooked, but I far prefer it raw.
Oh, I thought Jodie Foster was a victim of celebrity stalking-- I guess I missherad it, it was actually celery stalking! Andy has provided the photographic evidence.
No! It's not too bad when cooked, but raw - disgusting!
i'm gonna go with yay, but i put it in the same catagory as kiwi and pineapple - will eat, but is a bit weird. Apparently celery turns some european people a funny colour, so anything with it in has to say "may contain celery". Or something like that. I don't think i've ever seen celery warnings on food though...
Celery's ok. It's not one of my favourites but I'll eat it and enjoy it occassionally.
i can't stand celery, which is why i juice it in with other veg
k thx bai
yes.
with peanut butter
i don't remember how it tastes -_-
so i can't say
It's okay in pasta sauces, but otherwise I'll file it in with pickled beetroot under 'foods I just don't get'.
It's something to scoop your hummous and other dips up with, along with carrot and cucumber. Falls neatly between cucumber and carrot in the effort required to eat it.
