    You scored as Postmodernist

Postmodernism is the belief in complete open interpretation. You see the universe as a collection of information with varying ways of putting it together. There is no absolute truth for you; even the most hardened facts are open to interpretation. Meaning relies on context and even the language you use to describe things should be subject to analysis.

You scored as a Idealist Idealism centers around the belief that we are moving towards something greater. An odd mix of evolutionist and spiritualist, you see the divine within ourselves, waiting to emerge over time. Many religious traditions express how the divine spirit lost its identity, thus creating our world of turmoil, but in time it will find itself and all things will again become one.

    You scored as a Romanticist

Romanticism encourages society to look backwards to find our solutions. Your rationale is that things were much better a few hundred years ago so we should thus look back to those times and replace them in our modern society. You believe in a simple life and that the complexities of the modern world have turned it upside down.

What's all this stuff about fundamentalism? The way the word normally is used, it only sounds negative... According to Wiki, religious fundamentalism is described like this:

"... a "deep and totalistic commitment" to a belief in the infallibility and inerrancy of holy scriptures, absolute religious authority, and strict adherence to a set of basic principles (fundamentals), away from doctrinal compromises with modern social and political life."

In a personality test like this, one could maybe easily and up as a 'fundamentalist' if one would declare that one was an absolute vegan and wasn't interested in harming animals with no compromise... I refuse to believe that so many vegans are found to be 'fundamentalists' in the common use of the word (= normally associated with an unreasonable kind blind fanatism, imposing one's ideas onto others etc).

    Idealist 38%
    Materialist 38%

Shouldn't it all add up to 100 percent. How can I be Cultural Creative 50% and Romanticist 50%?

The percentage is the amount your ideas align with the views. i.e. Your views are 75% the same as existentialism and 63% the same as modernism.

I don't like the idea of being fundamentalist about anything, even veganism. I can see the chinks in most arguments and I don't think I would ever be 100% sure about anything. Personally I think it would show arrogance to be that way. (I don't think this test really proves anything btw.)
