    Default B12 in alfalfa

    From http://www.thepiratesparrot.com/alfalfa.htm :

"Alfalfa contains vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C (four times that in citrus juice), D, E, K, P, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, folic acid, saponins, calcium (very high), phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, and copper. (It contains all the known vitamins and minerals for life, although some of these are only in trace amounts, so alfalfa is not a perfect food by itself.) It is one of the highest chlorophyll bearing plants."

"*it is particularly of interest to vegetarians, who have a difficult time obtaining enough vitamin B12 in their diets"

    From http://www.auravita.com/Supplier_level3.asp?Cat=135100:
"A rich source of naturally occuring Vitamin B12."

This site also states that alfalfa contains B12. So does this site.
I will not eat anything that walks, swims, flies, runs, skips, hops or crawls.

alfa alfa is great, but remember, use with moderation ... variety and change is crucial. There has been quite a few people getting an allergy from alfa alfa because of overuse, and as you might know already, plants and nuts and other food that you eat too much of (and forgetting variation) might make you allergic to those.
