    Smile London Picnic/Pogo Anyone ?

Anyone fancy a London picnic and/or a Pogo meet-up sometime soon ?? Hopefully we'll even have some sunshine appear !!! We haven't had one for aaaaaages and I miss everyone !

I know Sundays are usually good for most people, so Sunday August 10th ? (or maybe the 3rd or 17th)

Maybe we could also have some sort of mid-week afternoon/evening get together too for those who can't do weekends (or who can but want to come along anyway )

So, anyone up for it ???

depends on work for me (I wouldn't find out until the Thursday preceding the meet).

I would, however, love to if I can!

    hey guys,

    here's a suggestion.

how about we say 10th August definite, and Pogo for brekkie, i don't know what time it opens but say 10:30 - 11:00? then head to St James's Park for a picnic at 1pm. just south of the mall is apparently a good spot for us all to meet. come along to either/both as you feel like.

    whaddya reckon?

pogo only opens at 11am Sunday, so there's not much point meeting there for breakfast, only to have lunch at 1pm!

you don't have to actually eat again at 1:00 if you don't want to. i just thought it'd be a good time for us all to meet.

    11:00 at Pogo then?

Weather permitting I don't see why not. They lock up the park at around seven and it's nice chilling out on the grass in the early evening.

If anyone is heading from the train station and fancies some company walking to Pogo, let me know, I'm not too keen on walking round there on my lonesome (I know I'm daft )

uhm, am a bit confused, do we meet this sunday or the next? if this one, i would like to make proposal: what about pogo in the morning and afterwards before going to a park visiting the "innocent village fete" of innocent (http://www.innocentvillagefete.com/) , handing out some leaflets about animals in entertainment? they also do a petting zoo and a ferret racing, i got some leaflets at peta for that occassion, that´s why i ask.

another stupid question in general: do they also serve coffee at the pogo? i´m not that much of a breakfast type either and am completely fine with a coffee in the morning.

Yeah, I'm sure they do coffee. They certainly do herbal teas etc, anyway, so I expect that they do coffee.

Pogo has Zapatista coffee, which is pretty good on the caffiene front.

looking at a map it should only be about five minutes walk from the train station, so 10:45-ish should be plenty of time.

sorry I've been a bit absent lately I normally get off at Hackney Downs just because its on the direct line from Stansted, but I'm sure I can get to Hackney Central. Yep, not a long walk from the station.

    So, who's coming then ???

ok, then quarter to eleven would be a good time. plus it can always happen that there is a line which has delays, so we should be fine with that time. only the three of us, which definitely go to POGO in the morning? isn´t there any one else? i´d come anyway, was only wondering.
