    Default Raw food: Share your weekly grocery list!

    Just do as the title says and we can all get ideas from other's shopping lists. :P

    This week I got:
    10 avocados
    1 honeydew
    5.6 lb's tomatoes
    5.4 lb's apples
    4.2 lb's oranges
    2.3 lb's grapes
    2.1 lb's bananas
    1.0 lb's strawberries
    2.9 lb's cabbage
    1.8 lb's broccoli
    10 oz's hempseeds

    This week I went to a farmer's market in Palm Springs and bought...
    3 lovely mangos as big as my head
    2 things of raspberries
    2 things of blueberries
    and 1 thing of strawberries

    and the day before that, at the health food store I work at...
    1.5 lb's of broccolli
    3 apples
    1 bunch of bananas
    leeks
    mushrooms


    *I am a mostly raw vegan, and I have been trying to go raw for months! But I can't seem to keep myself interested in the things I end up making for dinner so I will add something cooked. I looked at this thread to try to get some ideas of things to eat... any yummy recipe ideas?

    it kills me that i'm still buying so much fresh stuff while waiting for stuff to crop in the garden, but anyway...

    when im raw my list consists of:

    bananas
    avocados
    romaine/spinach
    coconut oil if i need more
    berries
    lemons/limes
    grapefruits
    fresh ginger
    flaxseed
    sometimes nut butter
    sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds
    coconuts
    plums
    red peppers

    I'm trying to eat at about 50% raw minimum starting tommorow.

    Here's what I got for this week:

    Berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
    Pineapple
    A bag of Gala apples
    One of those giant avocados
    A jicama root
    Baby spinich
    2 sour oranges
    3 saturn peachs
    2 "starfruits"
    2 plouts
    3 small heirloom tomatoes
    A grapefruit
    A lemon & a lime
    2 heads of romaine lettuce
    1 bunch of bananas
    Until we stop harming all other living beings, We are still savages.

    silken tofu (for miso soups or salads)
    firm tofu (for stir-frys, braising)
    avocadoes
    bananas
    apples
    cucumber
    burdock

    condiments:
    fermented bean pastes :3
    fermented red rice yeast paste
    kikkoman soy sauce

    I buy three things of bananas, 3 avocados, a box of dates, a bag of baby kale, romaine lettuce and baby tomatoes: for the week.

    EDIT: Oh, and like 3 mangos- sometimes strawberries/blueberries.
