Ok, so I was wondering what everyday choices and actions people take that they view us unethical, immoral or undesirable. I think as vegans we are all constantly trying to improve ourselves and our impact on other beings and the world, so bringing our vices into a public forum could be motivational in changing those behaviours! Then finish it off with some positive things you always do and are proud of.
So here are mine...
I try and remember to take one with me, but every so often I forget and have to use plastic bags, which end up as receptacles for veg peelings
I'm not so good with recycling...I used to be, but now I have slipped since moving out of my flat with my ex.
I want to cut down on the amount of food I buy that has excessive packaging, and has been flown from miles away.
I want to support my local ethical non-profit shop more, buying more veg and vegan bits from there.
BUT...
I'm vegan, in diet and lifestyle
I try and cook nice food for other people, rather than carping on at them about why they should be more like me
I buy all my clothes other than undies from charity shops, or occasionally, fairtrade online stores
I have a long history of helping animals and peoply in distress, including skanky pigeon, many an earthworm, a sparrow, and a drug overdose victim.
