Nose salve?

Anyone know a good vegan salve (or any product that performs this function) to put around your nose when it's sore from being blown/wiped non-stop due to a cold? I've been using Superdrug vitamin e oil because it's what is already in the house, but suggestions of anything better would be gratefully received.

aww i hate that when you get a horrible sore nose. i used to use Vaseline, but i don't buy that anymore so now i use lip balm, has a similar effect but i don't rub it all over my nose and then all over my lips obviously, that's just be unhygienic! i put it around my nose with my finger.

why don't you just use a heavy lotion? wouldn't that work the same?
