I tried to show this to my uncle and he insists the woman who wrote this is "One of those far left vegan loonies you listen to nowadays."

I never even checked the rest of her blog to see if she's even vegan. I'd be pleasantly surprised if she were but chances are she isn't.

I think more than anything she's trying to say kids shouldn't eat formaldehyde daily, rather than abstaining from meat, but who knows - if people learn how horrible fast food is, that's a small step towards kicking the meat eating too.

    Ewwwwwww...
It amazes me that I used to eat stuff like that (although I stopped eating red meat in early highschool, adn went vegetarian first year of college). I don't think people even think about the purpose of eating food anymore. Its scary.

No suprise there at all! I don't think the woman writing this is vegan. Afterall if she was....why did she buy a burger? I wouldn't!

This is from the McDonalds website

    Hamburger

    Bun
Wheat Flour, Water, Sugar, Yeast, Vegetable Oil
(Rapeseed), Salt, Soya Flour, Emulsifier (E472e
Mono- and Diacetyltartaric Acid Esters of Monoand
Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), Wheat Fibre,
    Preservative (E282 Calcium Propionate), Flour
    Treatment Agent (E300 Ascorbic Acid).

    Beef

100% Pure Beef. No additives, fillers, binders,
preservatives or flavour enhancers. Just pure
forequarter and flank. A little salt and pepper is
    added to season after cooking.
That's plain bread and beef. Now I don't like McDonalds (obviously) but I wouldn't call it a 'chemical' food. To say it has "absolutely no nutrition" is just plain incorrect. I notice the burger in the photos doesn't have the usual salad and ketchup etc. included with it - because they would make it go mouldy (If that even is as old as the article says).

We have to be realistic though. Otherwise, we can't be taken seriously.

A lot of the article was one sided i thought but, hey, it's the internet. Am sure i could put a veggie burger in a sealed container with no moisture and leave it for a few years and it may not be palatable, but it wouldn't look much different!

I'm very sceptical. We don't know how old this burger is or where it came from. Or if it's a burger at all...
