    Default A perfect weekend!!

Hmmmm. have just typed this in already...but it's gone.
    Anyway,

Hemlock and I have just had the most perfect 24 hours in Brighton. We've both been planning an escape from the chaos that is the building work. Not realising that by the time everything came together, that it'd be a celebration - both of the work being completed (apart from decorating, natch! ) and Yesterday, we celebrated 5 years in our house.

The day started with us being able to turn on a hot tap at home for the first time in 4 months!!! Courtesy of our Woodburners and Solar Hot Water heater. The Kitchen in coming on in leaps and bounds.

The day proper started with Hemlock booking us both in for Colonic Hydrotherapy. Neither of us knew what to expect... Having a tube stuck 'someplace' doesn't help matters much, but I was totally blissed out and we both found many benefits from the treatment. Alison McDonald, the therapist, knows exactly what she's doing and we both noticed an improvement to our general demeanour straight away (I also seem to have lost a spare tyre or so!)

Next, we headed off to our hotel room for a soak in the Jacuzzi - I booked us into the Granville Hotel opposite the West Pier.

After a good soak, we headed off to Terre a Terre, where we had a wonderful meal. The Terre a Tapas is to die for!!

After that, we headed back to our hotel room http://www.granvillehotel.co.uk/rooms.php - the Marina Room, Let's just say, we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

This morning, we had a lovely Vegan breakfast - tofu weiner, etc. then headed home in a lovely state of being.

Thanks to Hemlock for organising the therapies - they were fantastic!! Between us, we both made the ideal weekend away!

So, let me get this straight, you went for colonics, then stayed in a hotel room which the website describes as "Water sports have never been more fun than in this festival of nautique."?

Maybe your nautique activities have confused her, and she thinks you're pirates who are going to try to board her vessel?

The hotel looks amazing Corum! It's great to find one that caters for vegans............we have nothing like that over here.
I think me and hubby will make a trip to Brighton next summer just to stay in that hotel alone!
