Default Miss C. Chops and her raw quest

    hey everyone.
Ok so one of the main reasons i couldnt go raw was because of my beloved shreddies and soya milk, but yesterday i ran out of milk and i though phuck it, im not going to buy anymore!

I enjoyed a lovely, fresh RAW breakfast this morning!

im going to do a pure RAW week and then take it from there, knowing i will still be mostly RAw because i love the light feeling of not having something heavy and stodgy sitting in my system like crisps, cerial and pasta.

    Next step - SMOOTHIES!!

I will update you on my progress

    Wish me luck!

Yay! I've been thinking about going raw too, but I don't think that's something I'll do that soon.. still, good luck and good smoothies!

Why the hell cant i just go raw?
Why am i just too freaking lazy to do whats right for my body?
I yearn to go raw yet i still reach for crisps or pasta when im too lazy to wait for my next meal or to do myself a fresh, nutritious, tasty salad ARRHGG.

I know i shouldnt beat myself up about wanting cooked foods, or for being a pig but i dont want to eat these things, i want to eat raw, yet i cant even do that properly!

What helped you stay strong when you had cravings?
    i need some help here!

As soon as I'm independent, I'll go raw. As for the help you asked for, I can only speak for my(non-raw)self, but I think it's quite natural to crave crap (crapve?).. can't you try to have something good ready for then, like loads of tasty fruit or vegetables (raw carrot ftw! (or something similar), it takes a long time to eat so it keeps you entertained), or some nuts or.. idk.. available so that you can replace the chips you'd normally eat for them?
    Good luck

Cherry, lots of ppl have the same issues with going/staying raw. It's habit to go for the food you normally eat. Have you read Natalia Rose's Raw Detox Diet? She's got plans for going raw and how to go about it.

I might borrow it from the library again to refresh my memory. I've been feeling really yuck lately, have been baking vegan, gluten free bread and having salad sandwiches but I think even that is hard for me to digest, so today I am going back to salads for lunch to see if that helps me feel better. I think I need to think of raw in steps rather than all or nothing because then it's easier to do nothing than all!

Kitteh, Home made bread is just so lovely isnt it!?
I havnt read the book, it sounds good, and it will be nice to have something to refer back to and to keep me motivated. Hopefully after xmas i'll buy some uncooking books, can you recomend any good ones?
Good luck in keeping with the salad, It just makes you feel so much better doesnt it? Hopefully your digestion will thank you! I stopped getting indigestion after turning vegan, exept when i scoff loads of pasta, so i know im not meant to have it. Its just my weakness.
    I'll get there!
