    Default what your daily meals look like?

    Hey i've read many books and found a lot of information on being vegan but haven't actually seen anyone else live this lifestyle. I've learned how you should eat "this, this and this" but am wondering what a day in the life of a vegan looks like. So my question is what does a day or a couple of days for each meal look like for you? What would you eat if you went about your daily schedule tomorrow for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? I'm just trying to get a good idea if what i'm eating is on point with what others eat. Thanks for your input and your time!

    We have a thread called "What Did You Eat Today". Take a look at that, and that will give you lots of ideas of what we vegans eat in a regular day.

    You will see from those threads that there are a load of different eating patterns - some people tend to "graze" all day whereas some people eat the traditional three meals (or so) meals a day.

    I tend to be on the three-meals plan with the odd snack, and I don't like either cooking or ready-made meals so I tend to eat simple stuff. I might typically have

    breakfast: toast with nut butter and sprouted seeds OR (occasionally) muesli or porridge; fruit

    lunch: hummus/vegetables/crackers OR a salad OR something left over from last night's dinner; fruit

    dinner: a vegetable stir-fry with tofu and rice OR a stew made with vegetables and beans OR pasta with steamed vegetables and a sauce such as vegan pesto; more fruit.

    In between I might have one or two snacks of fruit and nuts. (Can you tell I like fruit? )

    I think the most important thing is to eat a wide range of different foods - and the recommendation to eat plenty of vegetables and fruit obviously applies to us too (you'd think vegans all would but it doesn't seem to be the case unfortunately).
