Default wild dog bounties & sharks

    1) I just learned from the paper today that more than 50 local authorities in Queensland pay up to $100 for every dingo scalp, and their hybrids. Apparently paid for from the rates collected.

    2) Also learned that a Qld-er was killed by a shark yesterday - apparently he is a spear fisherman. It seems that his spear-fishing and the consequent blooded waters, disturbed the sharks, and they went for him. I don't want to seem un sympathetic, but should his death bother me, when he's been killing large fish with his spear?
