That's good news.
It's strange that they haven't put anything on their website about about it but that sounds cool to me
i got confused by the title of this thread, shouldn't it read 'Pure margarine'. but that would be interesting - as long as they're definitely going to be vegan are they? hope i get to try them. i hear about a lot of these sort of things but never see them in shops.

Interesting. More chance of that brand getting into mainstream shops as well I would think, if they already order in Pure spread.

yes it was in the paper bit under the lid i hope it gets in supermarkets it should do as they sell the butter or margarine whatever you wanna call it
OMG amazing news!!
Fantastic news

it didnt say when just said coming soon so i will be searching sainsburys everytime i go in there i cant wait
hah.. i'm curious as to what the triangles will taste like
i wish it was raining
I'm hoping they're a nicer and vegan version of dairylee triangles
If I sink to the bottom I can run to the shore.
Does it say they will be vegan?

I've sent them an email asking if they will be vegan. Will update when/if I get an answer. Fingers crossed

turns out that so much of what I used to eat as an omni in Ireland was made by them.

im just going to email them and ask will let you know
can't do any harm, even if it turns out not to be vegan reminds them of there being a vegan market

i wish i kept the bit of paper now i cant quite rembember so dont quote me on it but im sure they were called pure the same as the spread so i am thinking they are vegan god i hope so be nice too have triangle spread on my celery again
coming soon...your dairy free and delicious alternative to cheese
Guessing if it's dairy free it's probably gonna be vegan (fingers crossed from no ceasin)
Unless it melts it doesnt really bother me. I found cheese unless it's melted in something completely gross anyway... I can just about stand cheezly on my enchiladas
Looks promising. Pure are dedicated to being completely dairy free (so no casein), there's a lot of info about dairy allergy and intolerance on their website and their range of margarines are fortified with D2 and not D3 so they're clued up on not using animal derived vitamins too. I'm fully expecting the cheeses to be vegan.
I've yet to find a vegan cheese that I like so I'm hoping that the Pure cheeses are good.
i have found a cheese i like but have to order it off online so it would be heck of alot easier if it was a good one in supermarket i like the tofutti mozarella slices they are nice melted i must admit first time i tried them i hated them but then tried them melted and its nice i like cheddar slices by tofutti to really nice with beans on toast
I don't really like any vegan cheeses =/
I am really quite wanting to try these bloomin' triangles though!
i have fantastic news got email this morning from pure they said the new products will be dairy free and suitable for vegans didnt say when they be out though but who cares least when they are out they be vegan i so excited
Thats cool mchelle, not doubting your word on this but would you mind copy and pasting the body of the message from them so we can all see it?
Thank you for your e-mail.
The new products will be dairy free and are suitable for vegans.

If they are anything like dairylea I will be more than happy!
That's good. Not sure I actually liked the Dairylea ones much so vegan ones are bound to be an improvement in more than one sense
well i have high hopes for them as i think the butter/margarine is good and my family prefer it to other non vegan brands so im hoping the slices and triangels will be just as good i cant wait especially the triangles to have spread on celery sticks yum
Ooooh! Thank you for investigating, mchelle81! I know some young people who will be looking forward to these!

yes meeeee i cant wait i just usually take off paper from lid and sling it in bin just happened to look at it that time and there it was lucky because the next one i got didnt mention anything about it glad i emailed them to confirm it thought id inform everyone i wasnt sure if anyone knew and was gonna be like yes michelle thats old news lol
yep, that's great (i don't much like cheese spread but it's still great news for vegans)
Excellent. I like it that people who aren't vegan 'unsuspectingly' use pure margarine, and it would be great if it were the same with their cheesy things.
Just looked in my new tub of Pure and there was the advert for the cheese triangles etc, looks great, am really quite excited.
Sounds great! Thanks for the info, Mchelle81.
Yeah, it was bound to be vegan if they were advertising it on Pure - the very point of which, being that it's dairy free.
indeed but in a world of soya yoghourts with added milk we couldn't get our hopes up until we got the confirmation we now thankfully have, woohoo

we will all have to keep an eye out for them and let everyone know when we find them
I saw this and got all excited, then i thought maybe they weren't going to be vegan, now i have come on here and i am excited again. I am hoping they taste nice.
they were in New York, I forget which ones they were now
