    Default The Sicilian Recipe Thread

    Tonight my bf's mum lent me her little moulds to make cannoli (fried pastry tubes, traditionally filled with ricotta). I have a recipe; the pastry is vegan and I was thinking I would replace the ricotta with tofu

    So this is my project for Wednesday... I also have a collection of veggie side dishes which I'll post in the next few days.

    Watch this space...

    Same here, yet her recipes look very good. Maybe I need to venture away from the old favourite family recipes for a change?!

    Oh, is that Nonna's Italian Kitchen? I have that book as well, I was looking at the name Bryanna thinking "I'm sure that's familiar" before it struck me

    Her chinese one is very good, but not tried much from the italian one.
