Thread: Baking and Egg Replacers

    Question Baking and Egg Replacers

My husband loves to bake and I loved baked-goods, especially chocolate ones. Has anyone found a good egg-replacer for baking? I tried Ener-G but it did not work out, the brownies and cookies we made tasted terrible and were of a bad consistency.

Also, if anyone knows of a good turnout for vegan pancakes, I would love to hear it.

I use "Allergycare Vegan Whole Egg Replacer" which I buy from Holland and Barret. It's really good, all the cakes, muffins, etc I have made turned out nicely!

I like Mr Flibble's recipe with egg replacer the best.

I've got pancakes recipes on my website: www.parsleysoup.co.uk (PS in the desserts section. The banana ones are flat, and the blueberry ones are fluffy ones)

Pancakes, I just usually make my own mix from scratch (I got a vegan recipe from online somewhere...) - (here: http://www.godairyfree.org/Recipes/B...kes-Vegan.html) I didn't have strawberries at the time so I substituted some blueberry spread and orange pieces, and it turned out well. Also, that was a lot of chocolate chips in my experience, and if you don't want so much chocolate/don't have it you can lessen it or omit it and make it healthier.
