    Default My son loves "smoothies"

My son likes regular smoothies, but today he kept saying he wanted one and I haven't been able to get to the store to get some more fruit/veg. So I was thinking what on earth can I give him?

    Then I randomly decided...
To mix together vanilla soy milk and juice. I filled his cup most of the way with soy milk and then topped it off with the juice.

He LOVED it! He said, "gooooood mommy!" which he never says with actual smoothies even though he drinks them down instantly. I tasted it myself and with the juice I used it tasted like a cream-sicle (^_^)

Just thought I would share the idea.

Like a home-mixed version of Adez?

I guess it will have the advantage of having more calcium than straight juice, and less sugar. I'm not sure what a cream-sicle is, but I can guess!

he might like one made with banana, soy milk, peanut butter & cocoa powder or carob powder...if he likes all those flavours of course!

...if you peel the nana and freeze it in a bag overnight, the smoothie is really cold and thick like a milkshake if you don't add too much milk.

There are few words in any language capable of describing how good peanut butter is in smoothies and milk shakes. I just bought some almond butter can't wait to see how that goes down.

Obsessed with peanut butter, not so fond of cashew butter. I put it on my bagel but it just tasted rather bland to me in comparison to processed fatty peanut butter. I ended up sprinkling sugar on top of it. Am I a bad vegan?
Either this wallpaper goes, or I do.

No such thing as a bad vegan parent
