Default Real Eat Fishless Fishcakes - Gone?

I'm sorry for such a bizarre thread, but does anyone know if Realeats Fishless Fishcakes are still around?

I did a google and looked at lots of different sites that offer their products but to no avail!

These were, like, one of my favourite-ist foods, evah! To think they may no longer be being produced is.. well.. frightening. I've not had them for a good 3 years (i reverted to veggie and lived on quorn instead) but since i became vegan again a whiiile back, i've yet to be able to find them.

Jag vill ha dem såååååå mycket!!

I haven't seen them for ages, either.

I prefer the Redwoods Fishless Fingers, though.

Yes, I really like those Redwood fake fish fingers. (The fake scampi, OTOH, are unutterably vile (IMO).)

The Realeat ones were nice too but they seemed like potato cakes with a spot of seaweed added, an effect that could probably be recreated at home if you're pining, dOod! I thought I had seen them fairly recently though.

It's a good incentive to come to the Bristol Vegan Fayre though, if the Vegan Fish 'n' Chip van is going to be there again.

Wait, didn't vegcurry come up with a fantastic homey-madey version? I'll see if I can find it.

It's weird, but they made me heave... because they actually tasted like fish. Not that I've ever really eaten fish to know what it tastes like, but still.

I'm after the frozen realeat variety. I can't cook for shiz, and given the extensive 'to-do' list in that thread, I'd likely frak it all up and end up with food poisoning. (I'm exaggerating)

It was supposed to be a recipe. Did you not read the previous post(s).

Post, not posts and yes I did, but given the thread title and leading post is a *bit* specific i just thought someone hadn't understood properly hence my
    "con-food-sion."

    Gawwd. That was awful. Sorry.

Looks like we've lost another good brand:

Oh yes, we've had some discussions about the change of ownership of Sosmix etc e.g.

    http://www.veganforum.com/forums/sho...ghlight=sosmix

but I didn't make the connection I suppose we could lobby the new owners to bring back the "fish"cakes...

d00d- someone mentioned redwoods fishcakes (http://www.bazaarbuilder.com/cgi-bin...currencyid=287). They reminded me of the Realeat ones, but better, IMHO. The Realeat ones were a bit too strong-tasting.
