    Default fruit!

i have a lot of mediocre fruit like apples, pears, bananas, and oranges from alll of those winter fruit baskets that people send you. i'd like to use them, but they aren't quite good enough to eat plain/raw. any ideas?

look at those recipes. i would make candied apples, or cut the apples up and bake them with a little vegan butter and cinnamon. banana bread is always delicious, or smoothies with bananas, u could make fresh orange juice with the oranges...

you could make fruit crumbles, fruit kebabs under the grill, fruit pies, poached fruit in orange juice, grate the apples and pears into porridge/oatmeal, melt plain choccie and cover the bananas with it then freeze and eat

Apple pie Banana bread. There is plenty you can do with oranges. You could make a pear chutney.
