    Default Vegan eating in Dundee

I hope fellow vegans in Scotland can help me. I'll be in Dundee at the end of May, but have decided to give the conference dinner a miss and make use of my limited time there to explore the town. I can't find any information about vegan eathing though, Happycow doesn't list any places in Dundee and Google hasn't really come up with anything. It's not as if I couldn't manage to find vegan food there, I was just wondering whether there's a specifically vegan place people would recommend?

I'm not sure about restaurants etc, but if you need somewhere to stay, I can't recommend the Alberta Guesthouse highly enough. I stayed there for a night about 18 months ago while I was in the area for a walking course. It is run by a vegetarian family, and they are the friendliest people ever. Not only did they make me a lovely vegan breakfast, but also called me on the afternoon beforehand to ask if I wanted to eat dinner with them as well. We ended up drinking wine and chatting all evening, and the next morning, Hazel made me a packed lunch to take with me to the hills (without my asking). It was a superb weekend!

Thanks for this! Sounds like a lovely B&B experience. Unfortunately I have already booked my accommodation, but should I have reason to return to Dundee I'll try the one you recommended.

Did you have a good trip? Find anywhere you would recommend? I've never been to Dundee but it's always good to know where to go should I ever find myself there!
