I'm trying to cut down on carbs (coversation with boyf went something like me:'im soo fat ' him : 'maybe you eat too many carbs?' me: 'you think im fat?!?!!?!?' hee hee poor boy can't win) and up fruit/veg intake, today was much better than yesterday, lets see what we can do tomorrow!

This time of year is one of over-abundance for many of those producing their own food. But the variety is wonderful!
Last night we had a parnsip pie, using our own baby parsnips (far nicer than big fellas), potatoes and mange tout.
It was accompanied by our own onions, lettuce, radishes, chives, parsley, peas, carrots, some local tomatoes, plus a few of our neighbour's tiny potatoes doused with Plamil mayo.
This morning, (balancing the food miles!) an orange/banana/oat/syrup smoothie with a dash of cider vinegar and a teaspoonful of flax oil.

Day two of trying to cut down on the calories I eat (and also load up on fruit to ward off a cough that's on it's way).
Breakfast: Sugarsnap peas, red and white grapes.
Snack: Small citrus.
Lunch: Thai green curry with onions, red and green peppers, courgette, celery, frozen chickpeas (so much nicer than tinned), mushrooms, spinach, brown basmati rice.
Banana, 3 small citrus, strawberry yoghurt.
Dinner: Wholemeal part-baked french bread with chargrilled artichoke, tomato, onion, mushroom, oregano, parsley, teeny spray of spray oil, baked in the oven. Half pizza, half bruschetta.
Snack: Packet of physalis, loads of strawberries, half a medium mango.
