so i've just made my first gluten free loaf in bread machine. it's awful...wot did i do wrong???
i followed instructions for my bread machine. put it on the gluten-free cycle. used doves brown g-f bread flour.
350ml water
0.75tsp salt
500g flour
1 tsp yeast.

it's like a rock.....a weird shape.... tastes ok if you can manage to chew crust without breaking teeth! but in no way could you ever make sandwiches...can't get knife thru it had to break bits off to shove some spread on to eat. think i'll put rest in the bin!
