    Default Momo Dumplings!

    Anybody else love these?

I am hoping to start making my own, but they seem pretty labour intensive.

Any recipe tips for a good filling?

Interesting, I don't recall having had anything of that name but having just looked them up on Wikipedia I think I may have had them, or something similar, in a Chinese restaurant? Obviously I'm not going to be much use for recipes unfortunately, but I would be interested to hear where you get yours (other than making your own I mean), puca?

I saw them on a menu today but I asked and they weren't vegan. Looked good though.

Momo is just a generic word for dumplings - they have a chinese version them in the chain of vegan(ish) restuarants in London (Tai/Joi etc).

There's at least one recipe in Bryanna Grogen Clark's book on chinese food. I've not tried making them before - as you say they look quite labour intensive.

They're a nepalese/tibetan dish and should generally be vegan friendly, they serve them in pure veg restaurants in nepal and there definitely wasn't any dairy in them. I ate 16 in one session once, 16.... I couldn't eat for about three days after!
