Arrow Vegan friendly accomodation in Europe

Heres the thread to share info on recommended vegan friendly accomodation in Europe. Making it easier as you travel. It could be a bed and breakfast, to a castle. You don't need to have stayed there. It could be a place thats been recommended to you or simply a place you've heard of. It doesn't need to be vegan, but vegan friendly. If its possible to post a link then everyone we'll be laughing.

Any accomodation for the UK could be posted over HERE.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan "Cussens Cottage" is the ideal place to make your base. Stay for 4 days or longer, to allow time to see all the places you have read about in the travel books, without the worry of finding suitable non-meat accommodation and food.

Thumbs up Re: Vegan friendly accomodation in Europe

There is a small but beautiful Vegan Healthy Holiday and retreat Centre on the Island of Sicily.

THey offer bed and breakfast packages, full board with 3 DELICIOUS Organic Vegan meals consisting of many raw and cooked dishes, plus many other activities including Daily Meditation and Exercise Classes, Massage Therapy, Lifestyle Consultation, Family Meal Planning, Dance, Personal Exercise instruction, creative art activities.

I know that also there are many different retreat packages available including a 7 day "Vegan Love" course, rejuvenation retreats and more therapeutic ones involving Creative Arts, Crystal Sound Sessions etc.

It is a very special place on the edge of the meditarranean with private beach, transparent waters and a great view of Mount Etna.

The food tasted amazing, I had Wheatgrass and fresh vegetable juices everyday, took the exercise class and joined them for meditation and had a deeply relaxing massage that shifted a lot of stagnant energy inside of me.

THey have an email: miamofoundation@yahoo.it and their telephone number is: +39 0931 985 065

P.S: Families are made very welcome too

Does anyone know if the Cussens Guest house in Ireland is still running? The website doesn't seem to be working!

Thumbs up Vegan paradise in Normandy in France!

We've just returned from a weeks stay at Maison Du Vert guesthouse in Normandy in France.
I have to say that we enjoyed the best vegan food that we have ever had in a hotel! The owners Debbie and Daniel, and their staff, were all very friendly and accomodating.
There was a great choice of vegan food, all beautifully presented, and an excellent organic vegan wine list (Most unusual in France).
Debbie was happy to provide additional items which were not on the menu. When I mentioned that I was not a fan of jams etc for breakfast, vegan mushroom pate and garlic and chive spread were provided for me. (This was in addition to the fruit, homemade soya yoghurt, and cereals)
She also provided some incredible vegan puddings for my sweet toothed boyfriend each evening.
Their two rescue sheep that they hand reared after a farmer no longer wanted them are so friendly, and the rescue turkeys are beautiful!

Highly recommended to any vegan, vegetarian, or omni. All are made welcome.

There's a vegetarian/vegan B&B in Crete called the Green Terrace, which I'll be visiting this autumn.

I think it's great to see that there are vegan hotels and B&B's spread all over Europe. I'd love to visit every one of them!

After finishing my last retreat in the amazing Miamo retreat Centre, i was informed that this centre was relocating. They have a new telephone number +39 952 81010 although the email is still the same - miamofoundation@yahoo.it.

Now they will be providing retreat programmes throughout Sicily on request either with a group of people or privately.

Individual vegan love programmes can also be booked. I did one last year and it really helped transform my life. Not just about being Vegan but about Why Vegan, Food allergies, Cleansing the body, juicing, food combinations, learning how to prepare raw gourmet and delicious cooked Vegan food, Mediterranean Vegan, Family Meal planning, Vegan mum ... plus yoga, meditation and sound therapy. It helped me to improve even more the quality of my life
