    Update on the festival:

    ''Update:

''Subject: Please help distribute festival leaflets

Good publicity is essential if we are to attract large numbers to the West Mids Vegan Festival. We have 15,000 glossy colour leaflets(small A6 size) & we want your help to distribute them! We need to flood the West Midlands(and beyond!) with leaflets, anywhere that there are people who may be interested - so basically anywhere at all!

Your school, college, workplace, library, church, community group, health food shop etc etc. If you`re able to distribute/display some, or leave some where they can be distributed(ie. health food shop), we can post some to you.

Please email info@veganmidlands.org.uk stating the number you require and your address.

Alternatively, you can download the leaflet, which can be printed out up to A4 size for posters.

    http://www.facebook.com/l/;www.vegan.../leaflet09.pdf

Please copy and distribute as many as you can.

For further details about the festival, please see our website http://www.facebook.com/l/;www.midla...stival.org.uk/

Thanks in advance for helping to promote the festival.

    Best wishes,
    Midlands Vegan Campaigns''

Just found out that ethicalWARES will have a few copies of my rock music magazine Black Velvet for sale on their stall there. If you have a spare £2 please buy a copy! I know there will loads of other things worthy of your money but both I and ethicalWARES would appreciate anyone who buys a copy of Black Velvet! You probably won't find Black Velvet at other vegan events - so grab one while you can! There are loads of great bands interviewed and featured in every issue. If for no other reason buy one to see what I spend all my spare time doing!

I've put some of my photos and bit of info on the festival up at:

    http://www.saveascream.com/features2...sveganfest.htm

    Check it out.

(Apparently EthicalWARES had no room to put Black Velvet on their stall so that was a bit of a bummer, but never mind. I know their stall was overflowing! - If you're in Birmingham you can get Black Velvet from Dale End newsagents, the newagents that is by where the old Birmingham Academy was. And if you're in Dudley you can get it from ST Records).
