Bryzee and Joeybee are from the UK. They've been planning this trip for awhile which is why I'm waiting til then to go. Maybe Brian and I will visit again when you're there! Depends on our funds.

Or is 'Vegan Drinks' just the name given to the meeting?

Actually it depends on which state you're in. Some states allow you to go into bars at 18 or 19 as long as you don't drink; others won't allow you to enter until you're 21. I was once in a liquor store with my mom when I was about 16, and they told her I'd need to leave unless she wanted to carry me (they had a rule you could bring kids in as long as you were carrying them). In some places under-21s can't even ring up alcohol if they work in a grocery store, so they have to call someone over to scan it for them.

    hello...?

i believe the mothership has called me back to sort this out.

It's my birthday 29th, and my and Joeybee's 1st anniversary 30th. so either would be good for a celebration! In fact, 29th would most probably be better. what say you?

And if enough people don't want to go to the vegan drinks thing, how about this instead: http://www.brooklynbridgepark.org/in...B2FEDAB8C0CD7E ?

It was ok. I didn't talk to many people but when I did everyone was really nice. It was a good venue too. At 8 they stop everyone so people can make announcements about their causes/organizations. They had really good treats made from "sweet and sara" marshmellows but appartently that's not a regular thing.

It looks like brunch Sat is best then, since it seems more convenient for Timberly, Anastazee and me.
    DiaShel? Terem?

Anybody else have an opinion about Thursday night? Vegandrinks seems easier to get to and more fun!

    okey dokey:

    thurs - vegan drinks at Angels & Kings, 500 East 11th street (between Ave. A & B), at 7pm.

Anyone up for ice cream at Lula's before we go? I believe it's rather cramped in there, so if it's busy we could grab a cone and sit in thompkins square park and nom?

sat - brunch at sacred chow (between W. 3rd and Bleecker) at what time? They open up at 11am, so go early to avoid the rush? [NB: This is my birthday. Anyone not enjoying hilarity to its full potential shall be challenged to a duel.]
