OMG i just read somewhere about the film Earthlings so I bookmarked it to watch when i've got more time but I just had a quick flick thru it to see what it's like and i am now literally in tears, it sooo awful what they do to animals, I don't acutally think i'm gonna be able to watch this film.
The one that turned me vegan years ago was one called Meet your Meat and that also made me cry.
I've tried lots of times to get Omni's that I know to watch this video but the "don't want to know" incase it puts them off eating meat??!?!? I dispair of this world.
I managed to watch it all the way through, it was awful. My bf was here when i first put it on, he was surfing on his computer at first. then after about 10 mins he started watching YouTube (I presume so he couldn't hear my film) then within half an hour he started heading off to bed. I told him what i was watching and said did you realise what they do to the animals before you eat them? He started making excuses saying that this film is American and was it made in the 1930s etc etc and then just left the room and didn't return. It obviously had an effect on him (he is a supposed animal lover) but as every other omni I know, they'd rather not know.
This one is (kind of) happy: http://twentytwowords.com/2012/03/31...inter-housing/
Would of course be preferable if they weren't contained in any way at all, but they at least are happy to have grass beneath their feet
Apologies if this has already been listed elsewhere on this forum, but my search for Philip Wollen came up negative:
