FTF sweets to sell veggie marshmallows!

hey guys - the company that produces the vegetarian haribos, (which will be vegan entirely by next year i am told) have listed vegetarian marshmallows on their website. hurrah! i've emailed them asking if the marshmallows will vegan, and what shops will be stocking them and when. this will be a fantastic improvement from having to buy marshmallows online at around £6 a packet!

Maybe I am being dense, but how do I tell which of these sweets are vegan? They only say vegetarian on the site.

The vegan sweets actually say 'vegan' on the packet.

Cumin - the haribo range is completely vegetarian, but only the sugar covered ones are vegan. the rest contain beeswax. the sour delicious are... well... delicious!

Unless the packaging has been changed (which from my most recent purchase in Asda-yesterday, they wasn't) they only list as vegetarian not vegan.

However the non-vegan items will soon be beeswax free according to their head office.

sounds like you are saying that you normally buy vegan marshmallows from elsewhere and you've emailed the people at the link you listed to see if theirs are vegan to save you getting them elsewhere.

In my opinoin Dandies marshmallows (from Veganstore) are pretty poor in comparison to the Sweet & Sara ones from Sweet Vegan. (The fudge is pretty good too - I posted about it on the Chocolate Decadence thread.)

the website doesn't say how much they're going to be charging for them though, do you know what the price will be?

i haven't had the Dandies marshmallows because they sold out so quickly, but i'm not keen on the Sweet & Sara ones.
