There have been so many cases of terrible neurological side effects from swine flu vaccine that I would highly recommend doing more research on the swine flu vaccine before considering getting it. Better safe than sorry.
You can see numerous swine flu side effects, studies, and reports at http://healthandwellnessnewsnow.blog...0flu%20vaccine
I wouldnt go near it. If you have a strong immune system and are eating the right diet your body can cope with flu. I've done ALOT of research into immunisation and lets just say that almost none of the shots are vegan.
Just received a letter asking me to contact my local surgery for a seasonal flu-shot, as I am approaching age 65.
Decision time.

I decided to get the swine flu shots for myself and my kids, even though it is most likely not necessary and has potential side-effects. But, my wife was undergoing chemotherapy at that time and had a weakened immune system, so that was certainly a good reason for us to 'play it safe'.
Best regards,
Andy
i have to have it as i suffer from asthma. if you have a compromised immune system or underlying conditions, the risks from the vaccine are far outweighed by the benefits of not contracting flu.
Yes, I think I'd get it if I were in an "at-risk group" or someone in my family was.
I suppose the fact you visit a nursing home might be a consideration for you lv - I expect the residents get the shot but I don't suppose it's 100% effective so passing on flu bugs to one of them might not be a good idea?
I have had it for the last 18 years -because of Asthma & Diabetes.
Thanks all for your experiences/advice. I think it will make more sense to have the jab rather than not as every week, I'm in contact with elderly people in a care home and a nursing home.

Wouldn't they be vaccinated if they are a risk group?
^ They would be offered it - but are not forced to have it.
