Thumbs up B12 - meat eater

    Hi guys,
The issue of B12 is something that I'm pretty fixed upon, last year my best friend (who was a meat eater) passed away due to a rare condition which meant that her body wasn't absorbing vitamins and minerals sufficiently - mainly B12.
It was horrible to watch her lose her mobility and gradually die due to this.
The GP advised us that many people have vitamin defficiencies and this was a rare case however it just goes to show the importance of including them in your diet. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for tips etc and thanks for dedicating a section of this forum to such an important issue

Sorry about your friend aye. Yes I think a lot of B12 problems are to with malabsorption but as you say it's a good idea to make sure you are getting enough of it in your diet. There is absolutely loads of information and discussion about vitamin B12 on the forum!
