Slush Puppies/Ice Blasts

Well, I'm assuming the Ice Blasts (Fizzy slushies you can get in cimenas for an insane amount of money) are not vegan, however, can someone please PLEASE tell me if Slush Puppies themselves are vegan? I have been absolutely ADDICTED to them several times in my sordid vegetarian/non-vegetarian past, and I love, love, love them! I must know whether I can still indulge in them or not?!?!

(Luckily I have not yet come into contact with one since veganism once again took over my life, since I live in nowhere-land that does not supply such lovely things...)

If they are indeed not vegan (at which point I may break down and cry!), is there any alternative to the slushy-goodness, upon which I can feast instead?

yes make them yourself. I have a machine that makes crushed ice and i just add flavour e.g. fruit juice.

I would otherwise agree that crushed ice plus syrupy stuff works. As do syrupy crushed ice cocktails. The slush puppy ice is very crushed - you ideally need an ice crushing blender to get it fine enough.

That's very likely au specific info. Plus that only have ingredients for one flavour, when there are loads of slush puppy flavours available.

Given that information, though, I can't see it being likely that there would be animal ingredients in other flavours.

I disagree...the machine I own is for this purpose...they come out right like the real thing but healthier due to the lack of the syrup (ugh).... i'll find the brand name and post.
