The poll question in today's Metro: "Would you stop eating meat to save the planet?" http://www.metro.co.uk/polls
Hopefully if enough people vote 'yes' it might help persuade others that not eating meat is considered 'normal'...

I just voted.
At the moment:
Yes at 43 percent.
No at 57 percent.
Problematic is waking someone whom pretends to sleep.
i've just voted too, seems a lot of veggies have just been on there:
Yes - 52%
No - 48%
'The word gorilla was derived from the Greek word Gorillai (a "tribe of hairy women")'
Mind you putting "Would you.." rather than "Will you..." means that the results are open to interpretation! Have voted anyway.
^Indeed. And I also noticed you can vote multiple times, which means the results are not particularly useful.
Can you? Vote early, vote often
81% yes at the moment.
And rulska, I tried voting again: "Sorry, you've already voted on this poll" it says...
"The trouble with quotes on the internet is that you can never tell if they're genuine" - Abraham Lincoln
Yeah, I tried voting again (purely for research purposes, you understand ) and it wouldn't let me either. Have to see what they actually print tomorrow...

Somehow I managed to vote twice!
Brilliant results, so happy to see it in our favour!
New poll to vote on - same question but in the Daily Fail today: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ve-planet.html
The figure the Metro printed in today's paper was 56% yes 44% no. Still, the 'yes' vote was in the majority, which is something.
