    A variation on shepherds pie.

    Basic chickpea and veg curry
    Tin of chickpeas
    Tin of chopped tomatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 clove of garlic
    3 cups of mixed veg
1 tbs of curry powder or Garam Masala
chili powder to taste (I like half a spoon of Cayenne, but I am not fan of too spicy a food)

Mashed potatoes for the top add turmeric, cumin, ground coriander and curry powder.

    Sprinkle with yeast flakes

I just made spicy sweet potato fries for dinner. They were super delicious and SUPER spicy.

I didn't do exact measurements when I fixed the mix of spices but this is basically what it equates to.

    1 tbsp paprika
    1 tbsp cayenne pepper
    1 tbsp Lawry's seasoning salt
    1 tbsp garlic powder
    2 tsp cinnamon
    2 tsp ground black pepper
2 single packet sugar (or 2 tsp I suppose)

I only used one sweet potato but these measurements of seasoning make enough for at least two.

Cut up the sweet potato and place them in a large bowl with about a quarter of the mix. Then add 1 tbsp of olive oil and add another quarter.

Spread the fries on a large pan and bake for 40 minutes.

You should have at least another half of the mix left if you want to do another potato.

I'm warning you though this recipe is EXTREMELY spicy. And I love spicy food and I think it may be a bit too spicy for me. I may adjust the amount of cayenne pepper. Either that or there may be enough mix to add more potatoes.

There's penne all'arrabiata - I never actually make that because I seem to eat it a lot when I'm out but there are various recipes on the web, e.g.

Naturally you can vary the amount of chilli (flakes) to suit.

I will not eat anything that walks, swims, flies, runs, skips, hops or crawls.
