Wow. Was the criticism on a news channel?
Just wow.
Yeah, the station reported what some of the people were saying about the fireman. "Waste of money" was all I heard before I walked away.
Leave it to Fox news to report something asinine. What a shock. Not.
That fireman is a real hero.
It's Fox news. Calling them a news source is like calling Jerry Springer a news source!
Well that Fox news article was the only one I could find so you guys could read about what I'm talking about. What I actually saw was on a different news station.

Any life is worth saving. If there was a fire here I would not leave my flat until my hamsters were safe.

The first report said 50 firefighters responded to the dog. It's people like them and Joe who restore my faith in human beings.
Shame on those people who said it was a waste of money, thankfully the firefighters didn't think it was.
I like Sandra, she keeps making me giggle. Daft little lady - Frosty
It says 100 people want to adopt the dog if the owner doesn't come forward. It would be a good idea for the local animal rescue to make an appearance in that town for adoptions.
^ that's interesting that so many people want this dog just cos he's been saved from a fire.
maybe they're people who've been looking at rescuing a dog for a while, i don't know anything about them, however it's kind of annoying that dogs need homes all the time but people probably only want this one because of the story.
Yeah that is kind of annoying. I mean, it's great that this dog is going to get a good home (may already have one by now), but there are so many dogs that need good homes
