Thanks, well spotted robb. How would that work - £26 off your bill if you pay £13 up front?

There is something a bit odd about their map, wish it really was next door to the Houses of Parliament (or perhaps we could convert it into a branch of Saf?).

I'm not quite understanding how this works either. Do you have to buy a voucher and it seems to be counting down the last 12 hours of the deal yet it's valid until 20/3?

I think perhaps you have to buy the voucher thingie in the next 12 hours but then you can spend it later?

Maybe, all seems a bit unclear still - is the voucher posted or emailed, what happens if your bill comes to more than £26 etc.

I don't know any more than is on the link...

But my impression is that you buy a voucher today for £13, then that gives you £26 off a bill for two until 20 March.

I wasn't expecting you to know Robb, just having a moan. I'm sleep deprived (was out last night and missed the last tubes so got to bed very late) and I'm narked with my friend today, just ignore me.

    Learn how mycitydeal works
mycitydeal is an innovative urban portal offering one daily deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat and buy in a variety of cities across the United Kingdom.

We have around 15 wonderful people working in our London office, along with a smattering of people in mycitydeal's other locations. With mycitydeal you can enjoy the best the city has to offer for a fraction of the cost.

Half the price, not the portions with a £60 dinner for £30! No need to splash out on a £40 spa treatment when you could have it for £20. As long as a minimum number of people have signed up (e.g. 50) before midnight the deal is on and we'll email the voucher to you with all the others whose collective buying power made the deal possible. You can monitor buyer progress via the gauge at the left hand of current deal page.

    Here's how it works:
    1) Each day we feature something cool to do at an unbeatable price. Reserve your deal by clicking the "buy now" button and entering your credit card details.
    2) The deal only goes ahead if enough people sign up on that day - so invite your friends!
    3) If the required number of people signs up then the deal is closed! Only at that point will we charge your credit card for the deal. Once the payment is completed you will receive the voucher by email.
    4) If not enough people sign up, the deal is canceled. mycitydeal will not charge you for anything in this case.

For further questions please refer to FAQ
So they can cancel the deal but by signing up you have already agreed for them to send you emails etc according to the t&c's.

I didn't sign up for the SAF offer. But I did sign up for a Wagamama offer on the same site, and received my Wagamama card, so it all seems legit (although I haven't actually checked how much credit is on my Wagamama card!)

Anyway, they're doing another SAF offer today only: "£10 for a delicious vegan lunch worth £20 at SAF Restaurant - Save 50%".

If you're interested, you can find out more here: http://bit.ly/bKGSzo

Or if you're interested in a £5 Wagamama card for £1, you can find out more here: http://bit.ly/bl8S4W

By the way, since registering, the only emails I've had from them are details of their daily deals. So signing up shouldn't mean you getting any spam.

(PS I get commission if you use these links to sign up too. )

The site is legit. I got a deal through them -- £1 for any film at Cineworld. It came through in the post within about a week and I used it yesterday (though actually I'm not 100% sure the box office would have accepted it; we were running late and the box office had a very long queue so we talked an usher into taking the My City Deal vouchers in lieu of tickets).
