    Default St Patrick's Day Festival Birmingham – 12th to 17th March 2010

    St Patrick's Day Festival in Birmingham 2010

    The parade on Sunday 14th March is a great day out for all the family and the very local Warehouse Café and Café Soya will be open too.

    Bring your mom’s too as it’s a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day.

    Come and enjoy the craic as Ireland’s popular patron saint is celebrated in Birmingham – one of the largest celebrations in Europe. Includes a parade, Irish dancing, music and traditional entertainment.

    St Patrick's Festival 2010
    Date: 12th to 17th March
    Time: various
    Venue: Irish Quarter, Digbeth

    St Patrick's Day Parade
    Date: Sunday 14th March
    Time: 12.00pm to 1.30pm
    Venue: Digbeth area
    Additional entertainment: 2 to 7pm

    The parade will leave from Camp Hill at around 12 noon on Sunday 14th March, making its way down High Street Deritend, past St Martin’s church in the Bullring and back up the High Street, finishing at approximately 1.30pm in Alcester Street.

    Enjoy the craic!

    The festival is organised by Birmingham St Patrick's Festival Committee with support from Birmingham City Council and other sponsors.

    The parade went really well and represented many diverse aspects of our society. Well worth a visit next year










    Around 80,000 spectators turned up and watched a fantastic parade – all for free too.

    There was a fair for the kids too afterwards.

    Bands were playing at several locations too - so quite a lot of different activities in the area.

    Hopefully see you all there next year........with our Vegan float……….
